Connect the dots

Synopsis: Let's draw a shape with Tulli by connecting the dots, using a straight line or a curvy line. Can you guess which shape it is before Tulli finishes drawing it?

Added Value: This game introduces children with the concept of shapes made up of linear straight lines and multiple angles (e.g. squares, stars, etc.), or curved lines (e.g. circles or heart shapes).

Tip: Try playing "Follow the Shape" with your child. Use Sellotape to make shapes on the floor and encourage your child to walk along the lines, seeing if they can feel the difference between walking around a triangle, circle, square, etc.; Make this game more interesting by asking your child to walk around the basic shapes with their eyes closed. You can also play a guessing game. Gently draw the basic shapes on your child's back using your finger. See if your child can guess what shape you are drawing.
