Fox International’s BabyTV has announced that it has launched on SKY México, the leading supplier of Direct to Home (DTH) Pay-TV services in México, with a localized Spanish-language channel. With this new launch “BabyTV” now reaches more than two million subscribers in Mexico alone.
Baby TV, the world’s most widely distributed channel aimed at babies, toddlers and their parents, is now available on Sky Channel 324 in the Kids Mix as well the Fun, Movie City, HBO/MAX & UNIVERSE packages.
Carlos Martinez, SVP and Managing Director of FOX Latin American Channels said: “BabyTV is well-loved by parents and their young ones around the world and we are very happy to be widely introducing it in the Mexican market place. We are confident that BabyTV will help SKY appeal to more new and young families, and are looking forward to making BabyTV another Fox success in Mexico and throughout Latin America.”
Unique in the region, “BabyTV” was developed in conjunction with child psychologists and infant development experts; the innovative channel delivers 24 hour commercial free programming specifically created for parents and children to enjoy together. The content aims to cover the whole range of development stages children go through during their first years, and is rich with music, stories, animals and nature, language, numbers and activities during the day, while providing access to soothing music and a calming atmosphere at night.
