Collect a few of your child’s toys or objects from around the house, and ask them to sort out toys into plastic containers which you can label ‘hard’ and ‘soft’. Put masking tape in the shape of a square or circle on the floor, ask your child to place objects ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ of the shape.
