Below is a list of our most frequently asked questions for BabyTV Apps and Clips.

What is included in the app?

BabyTV Video app is the perfect way to keep babies and toddlers entertained both in and out of the home. Use it on car journeys, a wait at the dentist or even a long flight.
Packed with TV shows created by child development experts, BabyTV Video will interest and entertain little ones for hours with enchanting stories, favorite songs & nursery rhymes and much loved characters & animals.
After subscribing to the app, you will be able to view all of the content wherever you go. BabyTV Video app gives you the option to download your child’s favorite episodes and keep them stored on your device for the duration of your subscription. Downloaded episodes can be watched without internet connection and playlists can be created to watch favorite episodes consecutively.

Can I watch the content in My Library and in My BabyTV Channel one after the other?

Yes. There are 2 options:

-    Plays all: Plays all videos/episodes consecutively allowing for a structured viewing.
-    Shuffle: Play videos continuously and randomly for a more spontaneous viewing.

How do I purchase a subscription?

-   Open the app once it has installed on your device
-   Tap the ‘settings’ button in the top left hand corner of the screen
-   Go to the ‘subscription’ option and choose your desired subscription period.

     The subscription is renewed on a monthly basis and will renew 24 hours before it ends every month unless cancelled by the user through
     the device settings.
                   
The subscription to "BabyTV Video" is an auto renewed subscription, which will be auto renewed 24 hours before it ends every month (or period).
               
- Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
-  Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
-  Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will be charged according to selected subscription
   period.
-  Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Can I have a free trial first?

After you have purchased a subscription, you will automatically get a 7 DAY FREE TRIAL before your iTunes account is charged. Please note that unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the free trial, your account will be charged.

How much does the app cost?

You can choose from three different subscription options:
- 1 Month Subscription: $4.99 - Subscribe today and start your FREE 7 day trial

- 6 Month Subscription (2 Week Saving!): $21.99 - Subscribe today to start your FREE 30 day trial

- 12 Month Subscription (2 Month Saving!): $39.99 - Subscribe today to start your FREE 30 day trial

You will automatically be charged for your subscription via your iTunes account, once your free trial ends.

Can I give the BabyTV Video App as a gift?

Currently there is no option to give the BabyTV Video App subscription as a gift.
We recommend that you purchase an iTunes gift card that can be used to buy a BabyTV Video subscription.

I pay for BabyTV channel on my TV, do I have to pay for the app as well?

Yes, the subscription to BabyTV channel through your television service provider and the subscription to BabyTV Video app are two separate subscriptions.

Will I be able to find all of BabyTV’s shows on the app?

BabyTV Video app is updated on a regular basis. Unfortunately we can’t fit all of the shows on the app at once but we do swap and change the shows that are available regularly.

How can I change the language on the app?

In order to change the language of the app, tap the ‘Settings’ option in the top left hand corner and choose the ‘Languages’ option, this will open a list of languages to choose from.

How do I make my own BabyTV channel?

Tap the ‘Settings’ button in the top left hand corner, select ‘Edit Mode’. Find the program and episodes you would like to put in your list and tap the heart button. The episode will appear under the ‘My BabyTV Channel’ section in the top of the app menu.

How can I download and watch episodes without Wi-Fi connection/ when I am offline?

In order to download episodes to your device, select the ‘Settings’ button in the top left hand corner, tap ‘Edit Mode’ and choose the content you would like to download. Click on the green arrow facing downwards.
The video will appear under the ‘My Library ’ section in the app menu.
When you are offline, click on My Library icon in the app menu and enjoy your favorite episodes!

I am having problems with downloading content to My Library, what could be the problem?

Please make sure you have a stable internet connection before downloading.
There is a limited amount of storage space on your device. Without enough space, you will not be able to download the episodes.

Can I access my BabyTV Mobile app on all of my iOS devices?

The subscription to BabyTV Video app on iOS devices is universal (it's suits both iPhone and iPad devices). You can share the same subscription on five different iOS devices (according to iTunes limit) by using the ‘Restore Purchase’ option that is available in the subscription settings of the app.

The sound doesn’t work, what should I do?

- Swipe up the toolbar on your device
- Check that the 'Mute' button isn't checked
- Check that the volume is on

How do I unsubscribe from the app?

Please follow the instructions below to cancel your subscription:

1. Open the Settings app 
2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.*
3. Tap the subscription that you want to manage
4. Choose a different subscription option, or tap

 

*If you don't see "Subscriptions" in the Settings app, tap "iTunes & App Store" instead. Tap your Apple ID (which is usually your email address), then tap View Apple ID. Sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions, then tap Subscriptions.

Yes. There are 2 options to watch the content in your BabyTV Channel one after the other.
- Play all: Plays all videos/episodes consecutively allowing for a structured viewing opportunity and experience.
- Shuffle: Play videos continuously and randomly for a more spontaneous and imaginative viewing opportunity.

How do I unsubscribe from the app?

Cancelling your subscription can only be done through the Google Play Store from the device with which you have subscribed

Please note that uninstalling the app will not automatically cancel your subscription — you must actively cancel the subscription using the process described here. If you uninstall the app but do not cancel your subscription, you will still be charged. You may unsubscribe or change the subscription plan any time before the current subscription period expires.
Please follow these steps to cancel the subscription on your device:

  1. Launch the Google Play Store app. 2. Tap Menu -> My Apps -> Subscriptions and tap on the app of the subscription you’d like to cancel.
  2. Tap “Cancel” and “Yes” to confirm the cancellation.
  3. Now the status of this subscription has been changed from Subscribed to Canceled

How do I renew my subscription?

Once your subscription ends, it is automatically renewed for the same period of time.
The subscription is renewed 24 hours before it ends every month, unless cancelled by the user through the device settings.

Can I share my subscription between my Android devices?

You can share your subscription on another Android device that is under the same Google account.

How can I download and watch episodes without Wi-Fi connection/ when I am offline?

Unfortunately, there is no option to download videos to the Android devices, as those devices do not support this feature.

How to manage or cancel a subscription purchased from the Roku® Channel Store?

From your Roku streaming device

  1. Press  on your remote to open the main screen.

2. Locate and access the options for a subscription channel in one of the following ways.

From your Home Screen

      • Select Home to open the Home Screen.
      • Use the arrow buttons on your remote and highlight subscription channel.
      • Press  on your remote.

From the channel store

      • Scroll down and select Streaming Channels to access the Channel Store.
      • Browse a category or genre, or search for a subscription channel.
      • Press  on your remote.

3. Once you access the options, select Manage Subscription to view the renewal date and access additional options.

4. To unsubscribe, select Cancel Subscription. Confirm by choosing to remove the channel immediately or keep it for the remainder of the subscription term.

From the Web

1. Go tomy.roku.com on your computer or smartphone.

2. If you are not already logged in, log in to your Roku account.

3. Click on Manage Your Subscriptions.

4. When the “My subscriptions” page loads, you will find all your channel subscriptions that get billed by Roku, along with terms, status, and renewal date of each subscription. Subscriptions that were purchased directly from the service provider or otherwise purchased outside of the Roku Channel Store will not be listed here.

 

 

5. Select Unsubscribe or Renew depending on how you want to manage your subscriptions.

How do I create BabyTV clips or BabyTV Studio clip for my child?

Firstly, you must create a BabyTV clip for your child: https://www.babytv.com/birthday-clip/
After viewing your clip, please choose the ‘enter promotion’ option.

Clips must be received 2 months in advance in order to appear On-Air on your child’s birth date; otherwise your clip will air on random dates in the month for which it won the promotion. Please be aware this is a promotion, so your clip is not guaranteed to air.

I cannot fit the picture correctly into the dots and I’m afraid it won’t show properly on TV

If your child is chosen for the birthday clip promotion we adjust the picture ourselves and your child will come out looking like a star :)

When do I need to send in the clip in order to be broadcasted on my child's birthdate?

Clips must be received 2 months prior to the birth date (e.g. to enter the March promotion, you need to send us your Clip before the 19th of January. Entries received on January 20th will be entered into the April promotion).

I created the BabyTV clip and sent it on time. Why wasn't it broadcasted on TV?

The BabyTV Clip Activity is a promotion . We cannot guarantee that your clip will air, but you are welcome to re-enter the BabyTV Birthday Clip promotion as often as you like.
Please make sure to send a high quality photo (please see below), only good quality pictures will be chosen for the clip.

What is considered a good (quality) picture for upload?

Clear, good quality images of your child (in JPEG or PNG format). The image must be in focus and free of obstructions (such as hats, shadows etc.), and should only show one child and should be no larger than 2MB.

How can I create a birthday clip for twins?

Unfortunately, we do not have birthday clips for twins at the moment but it is definitely something we would like to have in the future.

How can I create BabyTV clips in a language other than English?

BabyTV Studios clips on our website can only be created in English.
However the Birthday clip can be created in several languages:
English, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, German, Duch, Polish, Spanish, Latin Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish and Chinese.
