Focusing on one location at a time, this show presents children with a comprehensive look at the elements that differentiate one location from another, and helps place specific objects in specific locations. We focus on what object in each place look like, their names, and also how they are used in that location. It is important to build up a child’s vocabulary by groups of objects by location, which contributes to his understanding and ability to communicate about his or her surroundings.

You can print and label objects around the house. Keep the labels up and help your child recognize the names and first letter that describes the object. You can later take the labels and ask your child to put the label on the correct item.
